La Plaza de España

Yesterday on the walk home from class registration, my orientation group and I stopped at La Plaza de España.

To me, it’s crazy that this is just something I passed by on the walk home. There are beautiful buildings like this casually all over Sevilla. Everywhere I look there’s something new to see.

I took the opportunity to be an obnoxious tourist and take a million pictures.

I was amazed by the intricate details in the building, like on this bridge.

A fountain sat in the middle of the courtyard.

Horse drawn carriages circled the fountain. Probably a pretty boring route for the horses.

And, of course, I had to chase down some pigeons for pictures because I love pigeons.

Yes, it’s weird that I like pigeons. I know.
